Thanks to all the sophistication and sexual diversity that we are exposed to every day, and the constant stream of new and curious (sometimes bizarre) fetishes that come to light, the bedroom has become a battlefield where everyone wants to demonstrate their erotic skills.

Perhaps this is because pornography has become an integral part of our culture and therefore we are exposed to sex almost 24 hours a day. Or maybe this is because we are increasingly prone to talk about our sex lives and share our most intimate erotic secrets, and therefore more likely to sexually compare ourselves with others. Whatever the reason, the fact is that with all these sexual developments, classic positions like the missionary seemed to fizzle out of the public eye, especially because it is thought that very few women reach orgasm in this position.
However, don’t write it off completely: plenty of women can experience pleasurable sensations in this position thanks to minor adjustments. Don’t think that a woman will never feel the same pleasure in this position compared to others. All you need is a small but effective update of this classic, to make it an interesting and exciting sexual experience.
Heloise Battista
In 1988, the sex researcher Edward Eichel discovered a technique that he referred to as CAT (coital alignment technique “) in which the man, moves his torso just a bit higher than is customary in the missionary, so that his chest is well above hers and she receives maximum clitoral stimulation from the position. It is also suggested to use a slower, more horizontal rhythm instead of the old in-out. Why don’t you start experimenting? Rent apartments in Marrakech where you have the privacy needed to put these techniques in practice.

Bahrain is a kingdom full of contrasts, like many other Arab countries. Behind the wealth, lies hidden poverty and social strife. Also, despite the best efforts of religious leaders to control the populace, many profess to secret desires and longings that run counter to the typical social pressures. Sex and its expression may happen behind closed doors, but this doesn’t mean that people are behind the times

While religious leaders try to control the behavior of the populace, like in many places in the world, there is a big gap between what happens in practice and what should happen according to the rules. There is prostitution and a lively nightlife scene with lots of tourists from stricter neighboring countries. And now, there is also a sex shop.
Obviously, everything is done in the strictest privacy. Alcohol is accessible and homosexual relations and prostitution happen, but far from the public eye. So it made headlines around the world when the country’s first sex shop opened selling lingerie, accessories, marital aids and costumes. It is even owned by a woman, but because of regulations, the owner must make deliveries accompanied by a male family member.
The shop has stirred up controversy, but its proprietor defends it, underscoring the role sex toys can have in helping to increase marital intimacy and keep couples together. Also, as she mentions, there is no prohibition or regulation of how a married couple enjoys their sex life as a couple, and they should do all they can to mutually enjoy their sexual relations. Many of her customers come from the more conservative country Saudi Arabia, or other places around the Persian Gulf. Sexy lingerie and personal massagers are some of the biggest sellers, but dildos are forbidden by Islamic law.

Bernard is right. The seed is nothing, the terrain is everything “- said Pasteur on his deathbed ending his bitter argument with Claude Bernard. The latter always defended internal balance as a key to the development of diseases, despite their microbial origin. Hippocrates had previously hinted that health is recovered and maintained with good food and rest of body and soul. Still need more clues?
Psychoneuroimmunology is a long word, but a very simple concept: The mind can have influence over the psychological, neurological, endocrine and immune systems. All are interconnected. As this discipline emerges, our understanding of how diseases evolve and how health is restored is refined. While an understanding of the mind body connection is something which is almost intuitive, the discipline had not been formally studied until now.
You think positive and your environment becomes more positive. It sounds simple and it is. When different scientific doctrines both strive to isolate the happy molecule they believe will be the panacea for a certain disease or biological problem they often ignore the fact that it may not be any particular molecule, but rather, how different substances work together. One simple thought activates a cascade of molecular processes that can lead you to develop a health condition or another. When you’re sad a gesture or negative word radically transform your mood and can even affect your health. When you come home, possibly a sneeze acts as the first symptom, and if you do not radically change your mindset, you’ve blown it and will be blowing your nose for days to come.
Much more than you thought, your ideas and emotions affect your physical health. It’s painfully obvious. Our ideas, beliefs and expectations influence our health and that of others as much or more exposure to certain toxic agents or pathogens. Just is laughing is contagious, so is ill health..
This idea gives us the opportunity to become active agents in our own journey towards health. Without a doubt, the most important influences we exert on our bodies are our own hopes and motivations. Our breathing or heart rate, the density of our blood, digestive valves that open and close can depend on our emotions which in turn can act directly on our physical state

A scientific theory is like an organism: it is born, grows, reproduces and dies. Someone conceives of a hypothesis that thrives on scientific theory. From here there are other numerous assumptions, which in the best cases, amount to theories. Only when a scientific theory is refuted by a better one has science done its job. What happens when certain theories do not allow themselves to be refuted? What about Aids?
In a society which abuses junk food, drugs and pharmaceuticals, sleeps little and has lost all spiritual values, suffers from chronic stress and depression, it is not surprising that there are a growing number of people who suffer from something that can be called acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS. Immune deficiency of any sort may be exacerbated by nutritional deficiency of nutrients, toxic substance abuse, depression, traumas from separation or death of a loved one and a long list of possible causes.
The deterioration of the immune system makes us vulnerable to illnesses from a variety of pathogens. Our body exists in symbiosis (or collaboration) with countless microorganisms and other agents, and when our immunity functions, all is well. But absent the latter, pathogens can attack and invade making us sick.
When researcher Dr. Robert Gallo announced in 1984 that a virus called HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) was responsible for a disease called AIDS was, this theory took the world by storm, like a snowball growing that has not stopped growing until today. Though at that stage of his research it was perhaps only “likely,” this uncertainty was nowhere to be found in his advancement of his hypothesis, and the media immediately took it as fact.
The mysterious world of the virus and immunity is a tremendously complex and polemical area of scientific inquiry, and it is not surprising that such a complex disease such as AIDS, is related to HIV, however, the media’s tendency to over-simplify scientific discoveries has led to a general oversimplification of our understanding of how this, and many other diseases work.

It might not be as known as the film festivals in Cannes or Venice but nonetheless the Marrakech Film Festival is an important event in the film industry, in particular for its political and cultural significance nowadays. Last year American actor Christopher Walken said that it “reconciles world’s cultures. In a world plagued with misunderstanding between East and West, cinema can reconcile diverse cultures, ethnicities and promote understanding between them.”

This year the festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary and it will launch its first short film contest for students of Moroccan Cinema Institutes and Schools. The competition is called “Cinecoles” and the main objective is to help and bring to light new talents on the cinema scene.
The festival will also pay tribute to French cinema this year. As the birthplace of motion pictures, France had significant impact on the film industry in Europe and the world. To honor French cinema a retrospective of French films will be shown. Previous editions of the festival featured Morocco, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Great-Britain and South Korea.
The festival’s jury always consists of big names in the international cinema industry. This year Faouzi Bensaidi (Actor, director and screenwriter – Morocco), Gabriel Byrne (Actor, producer and screenwriter – Ireland), Maggie Cheung (Actress – Hong Kong), Gael Garcia Bernal (Actor, producer and director – Mexico), Benoit Jacquot (Director, screenwriter and stage director – France), Eva Mendes (Actress – USA), Riccardo Scamarcio (Actor – Italy), and Yousra (Actress – Egypt) are members in the jury. The president of the jury will be John Malkovich.
From December 3rd until the 11th Marrakech will be all about cinema and movies. Rent apartments in Marrakech to experience a beautiful, oriental city like this. Live out your 1001 Nights experience and maybe you are lucky enough to spot one of the stars that will be in the city during the festival.

In recent years we’ve seen an interesting trend among celebrities in their thirties. In their fight against wrinkles and other signs of aging, they take increasingly drastic measures, earlier and earlier. According to my mother, paraphrasing the French film goddess Catherine Deneuve, after 30 it´s either your ass or your face. Specifically this means: if you maintain a slim body thanks to a strict diet and exercise routine, chances are that your face will exhibit more signs of aging over time.

But today’s celebrities refuse to surrender before the laws of nature. They have Joined forces with increasingly clever plastic surgeons to make the impossible possible: a tiny body and a baby-face well into middle age. Thus, new anti-aging technologies have spawned a new specimen of woman, whose most spectacular examples are found in Hollywood with last names like Kidman, Zellweger, Moore and, of course, plastic surgery queen, Madonna. However, these interventions may be a double-edged sword, giving stars a frozen and iconic beauty that reads well from 500 feet, but seems freakish upon closer inspection..
These interventions also have the tendency to make the stars resemble each other, forcing them to loose their identities in the grueling battle to eliminate every trace of age or asymmetry which refutes the parameters of a perfect face.
Apart from full lips, small noses and porcelain skin, there is a new phenomenon that goes beyond lifting – let us call it “stuffing”. Actresses of a certain age are no longer just stretched and pinned back; they are also stuffed like a Christmas turkey. Their “fillers” are collagen injections to the face which return the illusion of elasticity and “fullness” which get lost with age and after dieting for many years. The result is somewhat disturbing, as these older women maintain youthful figures, and mask like reproductions of childish faces. If you want to explore the world of beauty, without taking such drastic measures, rent apartments in Marrakech, where you’ll find products such as Argan oil that will return your skin to its youthful elasticity.

Astronomers John Cromwell Mather and George Smoot were awarded the Nobel Prize in 2006, one of the largest prizes in science, for their research on radiation. Thanks to these two scientists, today it is possible to see to the bottom of the cosmos since its inception. They discovered microwave radiation, which are a relic of the birth of the universe. This discovery represents an important test for the Big Bang theory.

The scientific investigation of John Mather and George Smoot is fascinating because it could give clues to how the universe began and how it has been transformed, i.e., to what extent the chemical elements have changed. This gives us the opportunity to perhaps find answers to some questions that have plagued humanity since the beginning: how was the Earth was formed, where do we come from, and where are we going?
The chemical composition of the earth has led to the development of life as we know it; however, thanks to the discovery by these two scientists we can investigate if there are other places in the universe with a similar chemical profile, which therefore, may allow other forms of life, apart from ours.
This is perhaps one of the most important questions of modern astronomy, and thanks to innovative telescopes such as the “Kepler” and the discovery of multiple planetary systems; scientists already know where to find those planets with characteristics similar to Earth. However, we still need tools powerful enough to measure and detect these features. But John Mather is convinced that it is not impossible to build these instruments, and so in the near future, we may know if there extraterrestrial life out there. To do some relaxing star-gazing, why not rent apartments in Marrakech, where the stars seem to shine stronger than in other areas of the world.

At this point it seems that for any ailment or “problem” the right pill exists. Looking more closely at the “trends” in the pharmaceutical industry, however, sometimes the medical equation seems to be reversed, as more and more new drugs are patented for which the ideal patient must then be found by marketing teams.

One such product is what many call “the social pill”, a substance that can influence our social behaviour. It is not news that “intellectual doping” is in vogue in academic circles, and it is estimated that 7 to 15% of students and scientists Americans take drugs that enhance mental efficiency regularly. However, social doping goes a step further. It not only makes us more effective, but it has substantial influence on our character, makeing us kinder, more tolerant and cooperative. A study by Swiss psychologist professor Beate Ditzen conducted at Zurich University examined the behaviour of couples in times of conflict after they had taken oxytocin, also known as “trust hormone” and an indispensable substance in the mother-child relationship. The surprising result was that couples tended to be less critical of each other and more respectful after they had taken a dose of the potent drug.
These impressive results are on the table with other ethical issues regarding the rights and place of the individual and the inherent dangers of behavioural control that exist with this type of “social” drug. While the production of these drugs is not yet approved, many experts agree it will be very difficult to control their social and legal implications once they are on the market. Luckily, there are still healthy and natural ways to socialize with people. Rent apartments in Marrakech and enjoy a great vacation with your loved ones.

Music has the capacity to generate stronger feelings than almost any other form of artistic expression. A melody can transport us immediately to other places and moments in our life, and allow us to relive precious or painful memories.

An extremely interesting and surprising art form, music always generates the most visceral responses, as if it has direct access to the deepest depths of our emotional life. The moment we hear a melody, our brain starts looking in the acoustic signals for their emotional meaning, an extremely complex reaction that sets in motion all of our cognitive functions with the sole aim of forging a feeling.
This extraordinary ability has attracted the attention of scientists and psychologists for many years to uncover and understand these mysterious processes triggered by music. Among them, Emmanuel Bigand, neurologist at the Université de Bourgogne, has carried out interesting studies to verify that music, however abstract it is, reacts with a chain of cognitive operations, which generate positive or negative feelings.
The music researcher Patrik Juslin says that music, especially rhythm, speaks directly to the evolutionarily ancient part of our brain, called the “reptilian brain”, causing an immediate reaction, which goes unnoticed by our conscious brain. So there are sounds to which we not only react emotionally, but physically as well: for example, music can accelerate heart rhythms or relax us.
Beyond these instinctive processes, music also appeals to that part of the brain where we store memories, so we find it so easy to relive an experience by playing a song that we associate with it. But the capabilities of music are not limited to these simple effects. Music can also play with our expectations and our desires, serving as means of transport to take us to delicious imaginary places in the future.
If you want to feel the pulsating rhythms of a good session of music and get caught up in their melodies, rent apartments in Marrakech, where you will find a rich musical culture, which will surely inspire you.

Rings are a common form of adornment worn by both men and women which are loaded with symbolic value. Depending on the materials used for them, such as silver, gold or steel, and the finger on which they are worn, they can say a lot about someone’s taste and social status. For example: in many places, engagement rings are worn on the right ring finger, and then moved to the left following marriage or vice versa. This is especially true for Christian couples, for whom the rings symbolize unity and loyalty this belief is shared by almost all Western societies.

On the other hand, there are also some shared beliefs that are related to palmistry and the energy we have in the right hand and left. All these elements are considered by people when they choose jewellery. What is also clear is that it is no coincidence that when we choose a large silver ring with a black stone like onyx or a small gold one with a crystal stone, we are evincing very different stylistic and personal choices.
The jewellery we choose, as noted earlier, rather than combining with our clothes, combines with our personality. They are accessories that enhance our personal appearance and more clearly define us to others. It’s a good bet that someone with a pendant hanging and silver rings in the shape of runes tells us that we are probably in front of a person who is attracted to the esoteric side of things and may believe in the totemic power of jewellery, while someone with the typical pearl earrings, fine gold rings and a delicate gold pendant, might be a rather conservative person, all clear, according to all appearance to show us that person. One thing is clear; whatever jewellery you choose should flatter you and make you feel good. The same way that wear you go on vacation says something about you, your jewellery can make a statement. Rent apartments in Marrakech, and let yourself be seduced by the jewels of Morocco.
